Terms of Use

These conditions govern access to and use of the website. Visiting a page, reading its content, or submitting a search constitutes agreement to them. A visitor who does not agree must discontinue use.

NO FCRA USE. This website is privately owned and run. It has no affiliation with any local, state, or federal government body or court. Neither this site nor any of our advertising partners offer services meant for credit checks, employment screening, insurance underwriting, tenant evaluation, or any other use covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). We exist to help visitors find court dockets and case-record resources in Spalding County and Georgia. We are not a private investigation firm, and we are not a consumer reporting agency.

1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site. We operate on our own with no ties to any government office or court. We do not store official dockets or court records, and we cannot pull dockets, change court dates, or file documents for anyone.

What we do is point you toward the offices that hold Spalding County court dockets - the clerk of court who keeps the docket, the trial courts that hold dockets, and the statewide case-search system - and connect you with third-party tools that may help with your research.

2. Informational Use Only

Content is offered only as general information about Spalding County dockets and record access. It cannot replace an official docket, a controlling court order, or advice from counsel. Any fact that affects a case, deadline, payment, or appearance must be confirmed with the clerk or court that maintains the record.

3. Rules for Using This Site

You agree that you will not:

  • Break any federal, state, or local law while using this site
  • Use information you find here to stalk, harass, or threaten anyone
  • Base hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions on content from this site
  • Try to break into our systems or gain access you are not supposed to have
  • Run bots, scrapers, or automated tools against our pages
  • Do anything that slows the site down or blocks other people from using it

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. We do not generate background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports of any kind. Neither we nor our advertising partners provide services built for screening job applicants, reviewing rental applications, calculating insurance rates, or judging creditworthiness. You agree not to use data from this site or any linked tool to:

  • Decide whether to hire or fire someone
  • Screen potential renters or housing applicants
  • Judge creditworthiness or set insurance premiums
  • Determine who qualifies for licenses, permits, or government programs
  • Do anything else that falls under FCRA rules

If you need a background check for any of those purposes, use an FCRA-compliant screening company.

5. No Legal Advice

Nothing on this site is legal advice. We explain how court dockets generally work in Spalding County, but we cannot tell you how a case, charge, order, or filing deadline applies to your situation. For that, talk to a licensed Georgia attorney.

6. Accuracy Is Not Guaranteed

Everything on this site is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that:

  • The information here is accurate, complete, or current at any given time
  • The site will stay up and running without interruptions
  • Our pages are free of errors, bugs, or security holes
  • Results from our partner search tools will be thorough or accurate

Dockets change constantly - cases are filed, hearings are set, settings get reset, and matters are sealed, dismissed, or amended. We try to keep up, but gaps are unavoidable. Nothing on this site should be treated as an official statement from a court or clerk. Always verify a docket entry or court date with the court that holds the case before you rely on it.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

Links may lead to clerks, courts, statewide portals, legal-aid resources, or commercial search providers. Once a visitor leaves this website, the destination controls its content, privacy practices, availability, and prices. Spalding County Court Docket accepts no responsibility for those outside services. Review their terms before use.

8. Intellectual Property

All text, graphics, logos, and code on this site belong to Spalding County Court Docket or our content partners. You may not copy, distribute, modify, or build on our content without getting written permission first.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site and its operators are not liable for loss or damage arising from use of the website, reliance on its content, or use of a linked service.

10. Indemnification

You agree to hold us harmless from any claim, legal action, or demand that stems from how you used this site or from breaking these terms. That includes covering our legal fees and related costs.

11. Governing Law

Georgia law governs these terms, without changing any rights that cannot lawfully be waived. Any dispute arising from use of the site must be brought in a court located in Georgia. The Georgia Open Records Act and O.C.G.A. § 50-18-71 apply to covered public-agency records, not to this privately operated website.

12. Changes to These Terms

These terms may be revised from time to time. A revised version takes effect when it is posted here, subject to any notice that applicable law requires.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you look up a case or docket for me?

No. We are a private reference site with no access to the court's docketing system. You can run a case search yourself or contact the clerk of court.

Can you change or confirm my court date?

No. Only the court can set, reset, or confirm a hearing. Check the court calendar and verify any date with the clerk of court.

Is a docket entry on a linked tool official?

No. Docket data on third-party tools may be incomplete or out of date. The official docket comes from the clerk of court that holds the case.
